Building Science – The science of building performance

As someone said -  So we can understand it !

Building science includes the detailed analysis of building materials and building envelope systems, fire protection, sound control, and daylighting as well as the heat and moisture concerns. The practical purpose of building science is to provide predictive capability to optimise building performance and understand or prevent building failures. Too often we see simple issues relate to large problems in our buildings.

The Inaugural Building Sciences Seminar Series will provide continued education and support for professionals responsible for the design, building and commissioning of our built environment including:
